Étouffée For Two


2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

Medium onion diced

Medium pepper diced

Tablespoon minced garlic

12 ounce can diced tomatoes

One cup chicken stock

Half cup heavy whipping cream

1 pound seafood

Salt and pepper to taste

One and a half cups cooked rice


Over medium heat, melt butter in skillet then add flour and stir continuously until dark brown in color. Add onion, pepper, and garlic and stir until soft. Add Voodoo Ash, tomatoes, and chicken broth; mix well and heat until simmering. Add cream and seafood and cook until done. Serve over rice and enjoy!
